We welcome your dental insurance and we will help you to make the most of your benefits, but there are limitations to all policies and you must keep in mind that your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. You are responsible for your balance whether your insurance company does not pay as expected. It is very rare for an insurance company to pay for all of your dental services, but our computer system is very effective at estimating what your plan will pay and what your portion of the cost will be.
Your estimated portion of the cost is due at the time of service. If the insurance pays more than estimated, you will be issued a refund of any overpayment.
There are many kinds of dental insurance plans, for a brief explanation of the various types of dental insurance and assistance plans you might be enrolled in. We accept assignment of insurance benefits for all indemnity plans and we are participating providers the following PPO’s:
Anthem (formerly Trigon, formerly Blue Cross Blue Shield,)
Delta Dental Plans (including military retirees)
United Concordia (Military Dependents)
MetLife
Cigna PPO’s (but not HMO’s)
Aetna
Guardian
We do not want the cost of dental services to be an obstacle to getting the treatment you need, so we provide several options for handling the cost of your dental treatments.
It is traditional to pay for dental services at the time they are rendered, however, when insurance benefits are assigned only the estimated patient payment is required at the time of service.
We offer a 5% courtesy adjustment for payment in full at the beginning of treatment.
We accept cash, checks and major credit cards for most charges.
We offer an extended payment plan with prior credit approval through third party finance companies.
